I think this is a very solid take. Moreoever, tech will be optimized for LLMs and not humans. Shitty languages will remain shitty because there's no need to optimise them or make them more elegant. Web dev will remain ultra fragmented and will get even worse as the years go by.
We are generally rather negatively judgy towards some mistakes (the ones that indicate you're an idiot) versus positive towards others (some mistakes show taste or talent).
Python just has poor aesthetics. __init__(self) is unacceptable in a language in 2025. Ruby would've been a much better choice. Sloppiness in language design is just a bad idea.
Even as someone who regularly gets pissed off at some issues that I kept having with Ubuntu. Linux is AMAZING. It's ridiculous that we have a fully functioning open source OS which not only works but is the basis for almost everything that runs a web server.
The experimental flavors are also insane in their creativity. Alpine linux is an entire OS in tens of megabytes. That's crazy!
It doesn’t matter they murdered software engineering and destroyed tens of thousands of careers once it bursts it will be an oops and onto the next hype.
The entire web3 scene is a clusterfuck filled with scammers. Recently i got hacked by web3 interview which is a common vector nowadays.
They send github repo and as soon as you run it they send rejection after stealing tokens and installing keylogger. Pretty sophisticated and the frontend of the codebase looked polished as well.
It’s funny what passes as humor in europe is crass for others.
