Happy thanksgiving american bros, don't get too fat.

It’s funny what passes as humor in europe is crass for others.

They invented Ozemipc. Restraint is unamerican.

Utopia is nigh.

flavortown is adjacent.

Why did I only see this yesterday?

I think this is a very solid take. Moreoever, tech will be optimized for LLMs and not humans. Shitty languages will remain shitty because there's no need to optimise them or make them more elegant. Web dev will remain ultra fragmented and will get even worse as the years go by.

Not going to lie, it looks like a bleak future.

No tech is dead, 2015 i got endless interviews with a barely functional chrome extension. Today your expected to know everything.

Particularly spelling and grammar.

I wish I could hang out in the server closet, going long periods of time without coworker interaction, but you can't get far like that.

Communication skills matter.

Wait until everyone has to make grammar mistakes just to prove they aren't an AI bot.

Will we start using AI bots that adds grammar mistakes so that we don't sound like AI bots?

Make sure to use a good prompt.

We are generally rather negatively judgy towards some mistakes (the ones that indicate you're an idiot) versus positive towards others (some mistakes show taste or talent).

I've actually seen a pretty notable uptick in recruiter outreach over the past month or two, but it's still way way below the Good Years.

Python just has poor aesthetics. __init__(self) is unacceptable in a language in 2025. Ruby would've been a much better choice. Sloppiness in language design is just a bad idea.

there's @dataclass in 2025

Even as someone who regularly gets pissed off at some issues that I kept having with Ubuntu. Linux is AMAZING. It's ridiculous that we have a fully functioning open source OS which not only works but is the basis for almost everything that runs a web server.

The experimental flavors are also insane in their creativity. Alpine linux is an entire OS in tens of megabytes. That's crazy!

Good stuff

Super predator lol. They are ultra small fluffs.

You've never actually encountered an actual feral cat living wild after several generations, have you?

It doesn’t matter they murdered software engineering and destroyed tens of thousands of careers once it bursts it will be an oops and onto the next hype.

It's over time to burst this bubble. It's going nowhere.

The entire web3 scene is a clusterfuck filled with scammers. Recently i got hacked by web3 interview which is a common vector nowadays.

They send github repo and as soon as you run it they send rejection after stealing tokens and installing keylogger. Pretty sophisticated and the frontend of the codebase looked polished as well.
