1. I don't like how if I already place an Ace and then reveal a 2 that matches it suit, it then automatically moves it over. While mostly trivial, it still takes a way one move from the player and automates it.
2. Would you be willing to expose the value that seeds the game? That way any particular game of solitaire is replayable or sharable with a friend.
Thank you for the feedback. For first one I'm turning it off, this has been a piece of a feedback already. For the second – yes, as part of daily/winnable deal package in Q1 next year.
I've spent several years (since Covid) developing an ad-free website with 50+ solitaire/puzzle games.
I've gotten some feedback from HN already and now trying to fix things (rewriting the engine for 4th time). Hoping to add some more hundred games soon!
I'm also wondering what it is missing – any particular game or mode (e.g. daily games or tournaments)?
I showcased at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo with the Portland Indie Game squad and that got me some players. I also shared it on my various personal social medias. The neighborhood board game store let me put up a poster!
I’m also hoping that organic sharing will drive growth.
This HN comment has been some of my most successful marketing so far. Around 2400 people from HN have visited since I posted!
The game deserves it. As a non-native some of the things are tough without "cheating" but its still fun. Didn't check but do you also support other languages besides English? (In Estonian for example we have some tricky vovels: üöäõ, which might throw some code haywire)
I've spent several years since Covid times solo-developing an ad-free website with 50+ solitaire/puzzle games.
I've gathered some feedback from users from HN already and now trying to fix things.
I'm looking to genuinely improve the experience so would be incredibly grateful for any feedback. I'm also wondering what it lacks – any particular games or modes?
Kinda late for the party, but... In the coming several weekends I'm improving my passion project – ad-free website with solitaire/puzzle games (https://inSolitaire.com). I got some valuable feedback from niche subreddits.
I've rewritten this project (almost) completely four times and tried my very best to make it work on both desktop and mobiles.
I would be grateful for any feedback as I'm looking to genuinely improve the experience. You can help me answering the questions "What does it lack?".
I have a huge backlog to cover for website, but so far it has been great fun and I have learnt an incredible range of things!

I would be incredibly grateful for any feedback – I'm looking to genuinely improve the experience. Specifically, I'm wondering whether it is easy to use and what it lacks.

In Klondike, not being able to drag out a card from the ordered pile + the app automatically moving cards there is seriously limiting. The odd thing is that you can manually undo automatic moves, but you need to press "undo" to every move because they will be re-played the next turn. Additionally, the auto-moves are buggy and they don't always work at the very end, where they probably make more sense.
I'm building on an ad-free website with 50+ solitaire/puzzle games.
Gotten some feedback from HN already and now fixing things – basically rewriting the engine for the 4th time.
Hoping to add some hundred games more soon!
