This is one of my foremost requirements from a browser these days; how well does it block ads. As much as I like Safari it doesn’t seem to block ads as well as Brave, so Brave is my daily driver.

Safari doesn't have an adblocker, but delegates to the ones you can install from the App Store.

I totally understand that lacking a content blocker can be a deal breaker for some people. I wanted to ship my app to the App Store quickly in order to get user feedback.

Bezos also owns the Washington Post. Make of that what you will.

I think large corporations are typically fine with criticism that doesn’t affect their bottom line.

Not as exciting as some here, but helped me at times where i couldn't be at my desk however still be 'available'.

I developed a 'transport' for Mulesoft, that would allow XMPP based communication, and relay that to my phone either by sms or email, and vice versa. At the time the communication were Jabber based and almost everything was through that, so this worked out quite nicely.

I'm on my 3rd or 4th pair. The current ones need to be replaced as they rattle, first appearing in the left now the right are progressively following suit.

They are convenient and work well, however the fault rates are incredible. As soon as apple store opens back up I'll be replacing them for 5th time. At this point, I have given up and probably go back to SoundMagic in ears or something with noise cancelling that I can use while riding my motorbike.

PS: I didn't purchase apple care, and my friends/colleagues haven't had any issues.

Does apple replace them for free?

I have a similar view on the A380, but I love being a passenger on them more than any other plane. The extra leg room is what wins over for me and as I fly Emirates the in flight entertainment is brilliant.

For me it’s a shame we are seeing a decline of these planes. I loathe to think the industry is going to go back to less leg room, more seats and feeling like cattle.

When I'm flying Emirates, the censorship on the IFE is hilarious. Watching the Gotham TV series, and they kept censoring the word "lesbian".

Also, the Wolf of Wall Street Emirates style is significantly shorter (they cut all the scenes with extensive hookers and cocaine) and when Margot Robbie walks out nude they cropped the image and zoomed in on her face only, albeit with extensive pixellation.

But hey, at least Emirates will never tell you that you've had too much to drink, unlike Singapore Airlines.

Perhaps the extensive pixelation and cropping might have been due to having too much to drink ;)

I love safari, but of late unBlock Origin has stopped working, which means i constantly switch to firefox when the ad's get nauseating.

Amusingly, Safari made the same change as the Chrominum devs are discussing here. Limiting how well extensions can parse and block requests.

Amongst the other great suggestions you could also have a look at Redis (https://redis.io)

My years of toil with Java Swing makes me shudder every time i hear its wretched name.

This is one of the main reasons i detest pinterest. Lately they have changed, so that you can see small amount of the content, before annoying you with the login screen.

Ditto for Quora. I see interesting content, but they annoy me so much with their accounts (even when I'm just reading) that I never spend much time there. Don-t worry, I will create an account when I have something to say, but until then just let me be.
