Hi! I'm Tom, a Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years experience and most recently 9 years at Microsoft. I'm coming off a 2 year sabbatical and looking for cool projects (C++ is a bonus.) I've worked on some very impactful stuff: I have contributed to the JavaScript language standard (TC39 committee) when working on the Chakra Javascript Engine. I owned the distributed build client (Goma fork) of the newest Chromium-based Edge browser, servicing over 500 devs. I was a consultant for specialized DevOps for top Azure customers, including implementing MLOps and GitOps. I have written MSDN documentation and samples, and conducted internal and external training. I'm an Australian citizen with a green card, friendly and easy to work with. My recent projects include porting the ChakraCore interpreter to ARM64 Mac OS, and writing a NES emulator in C++.
