Since the original rechargeable AA batteries that came with my Apple Magic Mouse (1st generation) now seem to be close to their maximum number of recharge cycles I wanted to replace them with new rechargeable batteries.

However, so far none of the brands I've tried seem to work (probably either due to contacts not being thick enough or voltage not corresponding to precisely the one the mouse requires).

Hence, what brand of rechargeable AA batteries is known to be working with the Apple Magic Mouse?
