Whenever someone writes the phrase "most of my clients are CEOs" I immediately write off the whole thing as obvious self promotion.

I generally agree with you + hate the general trend of "coaches" on the Internet.

That being said, I am a former client of Ed Batista's (the author) and he is the real deal. He's been coaching startup/tech CEOs for decades and has incredibly valuable observations and advice.

Same but...did you read the article? It's pretty good! I hope CEOs don't need the advice but it's good for many levels of leadership.

I think he missed Shamanistic rituals, to hold together the tribe the leader needs to also perform atleast some amount of animal sacrifice
