And more importantly, if people can get something cheaper because it got cheaper due to technology improvements, they end up with a lot of cash left, and because no one will let that cash to stay on the table, it gets sucked in by something else that can't become cheaper due to technology improvements - either because of labour intensity (education) or regulatory capture (healthcare), making them more expensive.
