Personally, I enjoy these various "programmers fallacies" articles. I find those weird and obscure factoids about postcodes, names, addresses, numbers, and so on, to be fascinating. They remind me what a rich and diverse world we inhabit.
Now if "programmers" (analysts, designers, managers, etc) were more considerate, less rushed, more thoughtful, more experienced, considered their assumptions, and leapt to fewer conclusions, then our systems would run rather more smoothly.
