I have recently taken a somewhat keen interest in longevity research, and Bryan Johnson has sort of become the mascot of that movement so to speak. His research mostly focuses on slowing down his rate of aging by optimizing all major functions of his body, his whole life basically revolves around this one goal which is unrealistic for most people.
I have thought about doing a version of what he does, I just don’t really know if his research is trustworthy. That’s beside the fact that he has a full suite of medical testing equipment and the staff to use them — this is how he gathers data about what’s working about his protocol and makes adjustments accordingly. If you don’t know, his protocol involves a pretty strict vegetarian diet, taking 100+ supplements daily, and more bizarre stuff like giving himself plasma extracted from his son. He also does the obvious stuff like exercise, no alcohol, etc.
What do you all think?
