If the whole team is available in one physical office, a centralized model like perforce can run circles around the various git flows. You typically see this in places like game development.

Being able to lock files centrally is a massive advantage as long as you have to be at the office to do it. This forces conflict resolution in a much more direct and immediate way than the passive aggressive PR submissions that are eventually reviewed for conflicts after all parties have already burned untold amounts of energy on potentially unmergable code.
