American cops get surprisingly little training and all the public-recorded videos show cops pulling out their guns to to escalate and intimidate, even in the seemingly innocuous situation like a traffic stop.

I wouldn't believe American cops are trained with "safety first" rule in mind. The evidence doesn't seem to support it.
