Most self-help advice boils down to the author saying "be more like me." This is no exception.


Your point? That's true of most advice in general. It's common sense that if something worked for one person, then perhaps it could work for another.


The difference is that this person actually backs his advice with some studies.


This is the author saying be like me and become aware of the science of happiness. He provides a huge number of references to peer-reviewed studies. This is decidedly NOT like most self-help advice.
